Overview

The Megger DLRO10HDX Low Resistance Ohmmeter measures resistance between 0.1µΩ and 250mΩ with a maximum resolution of 0.1µΩ and accuracy of ±0.2%. The instrument can inject a test current of up to 10A into a conductor for a duration of up to one minute thus making it suitable for measuring resistance across thick conductors, bonding and welding. These capabilities make it suitable for a range of sectors including rail and manufacturing.

The user selects the correct test current setting using the simple rotary switch and push buttons which are easy to operate in all conditions, including when wearing gloves. Specific test modes allow measurements in motors and generators and across different metal combinations whilst an automatic mode performs a test as soon as the probes are connected. Continuous mode is ideal for performing multiple tests on the same conductor, for example on a production line.

Up to 200 records can be saved to the internal memory of the Megger DLRO10 HDX and then recalled on the clear backlit LCD display. Saved files can be downloaded with Megger PowerDB software. A test lead pouch and user guide are supplied as standard. The power supply is another handy feature of the ohmmeter because it can run either off rechargeable batteries or off the mains, thus allowing portable use and extended use. The instrument comes supplied with no test leads as standard but a set of DH4-C probes or KC1 Kelvin clip probes can be selected using the drop-down menu above.
